For throwback Thursday, we're digging up a Lincoln Now article from back in December that seems like a perfect read as the weather gets warmer. "The Real Deal" is about Steve Kingston's Clam Shack in Kennebunkport, Maine, where locals are important, both in terms of providing fresh ingredients and patronizing the restaurant.

"It’s a neighborhood staple that counts former presidents as frequent diners," reads the piece. "But locals are still very much at the heart of the business....'The locals love us. It starts with the locals. We serve locals all spring, then July hits [and] we get very busy with both (locals and visitors),' Steve says." Being a visitor at the Clam Shack doesn't sound too bad, huh?

To prepare for your visit, come out to Lincoln of Smithtown at 501 East Jericho Turnpike in Saint James and get yourself a new Lincoln for the drive. Your journey to the perfect lobster roll will be a comfy and stylish one.
