This is how Brett Bishop describes the scene at Little Skookum Bay where he and other oyster farmers gather when the tide is low—even if that's at 2:00 AM. The community and the quiet, which prevails in spite of the noise of the trade, are reasons why Brett has been happy to make oyster farming his life's work, as his family has for years.
